WALT portray our ideas through visual art

We read the Maori legend 'Maui and the Sun' and used crayons and dye to create a piece of art based on it. We chose a scene from the story and thought about the images and colours that came to mind. Following that we used crayon to draw the picture, and painted over it with dye.
